Hemp
Cannabis Sativa L.
Ancient plant. Modern wellness. Federally legal.
What is Hemp?
Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant that has been cultivated for thousands of years for fiber, food, medicine, and spiritual use. Legally defined as cannabis containing less than 0.3% THC by dry weight, hemp became federally legal in the United States with the 2018 Farm Bill.
While hemp and marijuana come from the same plant species, they have different chemical profiles and uses. Hemp is non-intoxicating and rich in beneficial cannabinoids like CBD, CBG, and CBN, along with terpenes, flavonoids, and other plant compounds that work together in what's called the "entourage effect."
Hemp has been used in spiritual and healing traditions across cultures—from ancient Chinese medicine to Indian Ayurveda to indigenous American practices. Today, it's experiencing a renaissance as people rediscover the plant's profound wellness and spiritual benefits.
The Entourage Effect
Hemp contains over 100 cannabinoids, plus terpenes and flavonoids that work synergistically to enhance benefits. This "entourage effect" makes whole-plant hemp more effective than isolated compounds.

Legal & Safe
The 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp and hemp-derived products at the federal level, removing hemp from the Controlled Substances Act. This means hemp products can be grown, manufactured, and sold across the United States.
Hemp-derived cannabinoids like CBD are legal as long as they remain within federal hemp compliance standards. These products can be purchased online and shipped to most states without a prescription or medical card.
Spiritual Plants works exclusively with premium hemp cultivators who follow organic practices and third-party lab testing to ensure purity, potency, and compliance.
