We're Not a Company.

We're a Resurrection.

A convergence of 30 years of cannabis expertise, disruptive storytelling, and luxury brand heritage — building the future of conscious consumption

What Spiritual Plants Is

Spiritual Plants is a new category in cannabis and plant wellness.

We create spiritually literate, ritual-based products for adults who care about meaning, intention, and the body—but don't want stoner culture, hype, or shame.

This is not about intoxication. It's about integration.

The Core Idea

Ritual changes the body.

Across cultures, faiths, and traditions, healing happens when care is practiced consistently and intentionally.

Spiritual Plants builds products that fit into daily life, not escape from it.

  • • No hacks.
  • • No spectacle.
  • • No pressure.
  • • Just practice.

Spiritual Plants exists to restore a relationship between body and belief, ritual and relief, culture and care.

Plants are not the problem. Disconnection is.

The Origin Story: Easter, 4/20, and a Skywriting Signal

"When I was a kid, Easter never had anything to do with a bunny, or eggs, or ugly, pastel color-palettes. In our house, Easter was a celebration of Jesus' resurrection from the grave."

Craig Gross grew up in a traditional Christian home. Easter was sacred. Church was mandatory. Cannabis was "the Devil's lettuce." But in 2019, everything changed.

By then, Craig had already spent two decades as a cultural disruptor—founding XXXchurch, speaking at over 1000 churches, and challenging religious norms. When cannabis helped him heal from chronic health issues and transformed his prayer life, he knew he had found his next calling.

Then came the moment that would launch the movement: Coachella 2019.

Two weeks before the festival, Coachella announced Kanye West would hold a 9 AM Sunday service on Easter morning. Craig wondered: "How do you even get out of bed for that after Tame Impala plays their Saturday-night set?"

While driving his son to an audition in Los Angeles, passing billboard after billboard advertising cannabis, Craig had an idea: What if we skywrite "ChristianCannabis.com" over Coachella to create the category and invite everyone to the party?

When he called the skywriting company, everything was sold out—except one slot. A Saturday afternoon time on April 20th, 2019 at 4:20 PM—the day before Kanye's Sunday service, the day before Easter. The universe was speaking.

"I looked at my son and thought, 'Wow, that's fifteen days from now... Is this the right time to introduce this conversation to the world?' I called five people, including my wife, and the response was four-to-one in favor of booking the spot."

Craig didn't write new content. He didn't panic about having enough information. He simply removed the password protection from ChristianCannabis.com and made it live.

On April 20th, 2019, at 4:20 PM, as thousands gathered for Coachella, a plane skywritten with "ChristianCannabis.com" flew overhead. The signal was sent. The category was born. Everyone was invited.

Six years later, Easter fell on 4/20/2025. We launched Christian Cannabis products that day. The resurrection was complete.

The movement had begun.

🌿 Guy Rocourt — The Legend of Clean Cannabis

Guy Rocourt - Visionary

Guy Rocourt is one of the most respected names in modern cannabis — a Haitian-American veteran, formulator, and advocate who helped define what "clean cannabis" means in the regulated era.

As the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Papa & Barkley, Guy raised more than $72 million in institutional capital and guided the brand from a kitchen startup to one of California's most trusted household names in wellness. Under his leadership, Papa & Barkley became synonymous with solventless extraction, whole-plant medicine, and authentic storytelling — a model that changed how the industry talked about purity and care.

In 2022 the company was acquired by Mammoth Distribution, one of California's largest cannabis portfolios. As part of that transaction Guy entered a standard two-year non-disparagement agreement, which concludes July 2026. During that period he has remained publicly silent about the details of the acquisition, the strategic decisions that followed, and the reality that — despite being the creative and operational heartbeat of the company — he was released from his role immediately after the sale.

What cannot be silenced is his impact. The formulas Guy created still win awards. The extraction methods he pioneered have become industry standards. And the community continues to regard him as the conscience of cannabis: a founder who refused shortcuts, fought for transparency, and proved that plant medicine could be both effective and ethical.

The 2025 Sedona Undercover Story

In 2025, that same fight for honesty pushed the story even further. Craig Gross, Kenny McCormick, and Patricc Reed / Post It Pat — the anti-artist outsider once tied to Zappos visionary Tony Hsieh's inner circle — joined forces with Guy's mission. Together they went undercover in Sedona, Arizona, taking jobs as budtenders at the town's only dispensary — a store owned by Curaleaf, the world's largest cannabis operator.

Within a month the team raised the shop's sales by $40,000, simply by telling customers the truth and recommending top-shelf, solventless products instead of the company's low-quality house lines. Their reward: termination.

That experience became symbolic of everything wrong with corporate cannabis — and everything Guy has spent three decades defending.

"I put this industry on my back."

And it's true. He carried it through its birth, its sell-out, and now its coming resurrection.

Today, with Spiritual Plants and Clea Midlife, Guy Rocourt is writing that resurrection in real time — merging science, soul, and integrity to restore what corporate greed tried to erase. His non-disparagement may expire in July, but his voice, his vision, and his purpose are louder than ever.

Founding Support & Strategic Partnerships

Craig Gross has funded this movement with his own life savings and eight years of work. Every brand, project, and property has been built from the ground up through personal investment and sweat equity. The only outside financial support ever accepted has from a select circle of trusted friends and strategic partners who share the same mission and values.

Aaron & Shane Kenny

Founders, Internet Safety Coalition | Early Technology Collaborators

Pioneers in bridging technology and family safety, the Kennys helped shape the foundation of viral, purpose-driven media long before 'content marketing' existed, bringing technical excellence and ethical grounding to the early stages of this work.

Josh McCown

NFL Veteran | Leadership & Legacy Partner

An 18-season NFL quarterback renowned for resilience and mentorship, Josh's friendship and support have been foundational—not just as a contributor, but as a man of faith who balances ambition with service. He brings the heart of a coach and the soul of a collaborator.

Aligned Practitioners & Future Collaboration

Spiritual Plants may collaborate with aligned wellness practitioners as the company grows. Any partnership, investment or acquisition would require separate diligence, agreement and final documentation.

Dr. Gary & Dr. Lisa Arthur

Founders, Health in Balance

With 40+ years of combined experience, the Arthurs and their Laguna Beach practice represent the kind of aligned practitioner relationship the wider ecosystem hopes to explore. No acquisition or formal role is implied without a separate agreement.

Why It Matters

We don't take random investors. We build with people who share our character, values, and vision. Aaron, Shane, and Josh remain our only financial backers. Dr. Gary and Dr. Lisa are examples of the practitioner relationships we value. This is more than business. It's legacy, trust, and shared mission.

"

We don't want to sell out. We want to scale up. This deal gives you control and gives us continuity.
