Chapter 05 of 06
Start with I love you
Billy preached. Bill presented. Willie smoked. Craig kept asking. Belief opens the room; agreement is not required.

The Dream Booking · Night Forty
This is our stated ideal closing night, and we're putting it in writing so there's no confusion about what we're chasing: the band that wrote "The Final Countdown," playing it live, in Asheville, on the fortieth night of the final countdown — in the fortieth year of the song.
And not alone. The version we're working toward puts their frontman on that chorus alongside Jacoby and Kenny — three voices, one countdown.
Forty days, one countdown, and a title nobody has to explain. The band that wrote it playing the last night of it is the only ending that writes itself.
1986 to 2026. A fortieth anniversary show inside a forty-day countdown, in a room that sells out on name alone.
1,100 capacity, Rolling Stone's list of the best rooms in America, and a town that treats live music like a civic duty.
Day forty could be a funeral for an industry. We'd rather it be the loudest chorus in Western North Carolina.
To Whoever Books This Band
Somebody is going to put Europe on a stage in 2026 for the fortieth anniversary of the biggest countdown song ever written. That show will happen in a nice room, on a nice night, and it will be a good show.
Or it happens here — where a forty-day national story has been building toward that exact stage since day one, where the song has been the opening bell every single night for six weeks, where local bands have been covering it for a month, and where 1,100 people at The Orange Peel have been counting down to the moment the actual band walks out and plays it for real.
Same fee. Same routing window. Completely different footage. One is a tour date. The other is a headline, a documentary scene, and the only performance of that song in forty years that means something beyond nostalgia — a room full of people who spent forty days watching a deadline count down, and then heard it played by the men who wrote it.
The press writes itself. The story is already running. All that's missing is the band.
Not yet booked. Not affiliated with Europe or their representation. This is the ask, stated publicly.
You do not need to know the ending to begin the story.
Keep the doors open. Add tracks. Document the absurdity.

The plant will
always grow here.
A law can narrow a definition. It cannot uninvent a plant, erase a culture or make millions of people forget what they already learned.
The legal trigger is American. The question is global: after cannabis and plant medicine entered mainstream culture, are we really moving backward?
Install the shared clock and daily question. Publish one local story. Minimum footprint; maximum recognition.
Host one weekly conversation around the same national question. Put people who disagree at the same table.
Music, witnesses, source wall, civic action and daily or weekly programming. Your city becomes part of the documentary.
Before Day 40, recruit 400 committed carriers across farmers, retailers, artists, doctors, lawyers, parents, veterans, spiritual communities, journalists, public servants and other cities.
Every host signs the same charter: no party endorsements, no unverified claims, no hidden product advertising, local law labeled clearly, and affected people speak first.
The Edit Button is not a petition nobody reads. Learn the fact. Tell your story. Contact the actual people writing the rule. Then bring the question home.
Your words stay in your browser unless you choose to share them.
Hi, I'm [NAME], a constituent from [CITY]. I'm asking you to support delaying Section 781 while Congress creates clear, enforceable rules for adult hemp-derived cannabinoid products. Please bring farmers, workers, consumers, public-health experts and responsible businesses to the table. Build 21+ rules around testing, labeling, serving size, packaging and traceability. Regulate the market. Don't erase it.
